Road grade flocculent wood fiber

Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA) is a new type of asphalt mixture that has emerged internationally in recent years. It is composed of asphalt, fiber stabilizer, mineral powder, and a small amount of aggregate. SMA is filled with asphalt to fill the gaps in the coarse aggregate skeleton with intermittent gradation. Lignin fiber, as an important component of SMA, not only perform the function of adsorbing asphalt, but also the function of reinforcing and stabilizing, which improves the high-temperature stability of the mixture to a certain extent. Research results show that wood fiber plays an important role in the performance of SMA mixture, especially in the resistance to rutting.
