Construction & Industrial Grade Calcium Formate

Calcium formate is a widely used concrete admixture in the construction sector, functioning as a cement quick-setting accelerator, processing lubricant and early-strength additive for building mortar and all types of concrete mixtures.

It accelerates cement hydration and hardening, effectively shortening the initial and final setting time of cement materials.Particularly suitable for winter construction projects, this additive efficiently prevents delayed cement setting caused by low ambient temperatures.

As a high-performance early-strength agent, it speeds up formwork stripping and enables cement structures to gain target compressive strength rapidly for early commissioning and service.

The recommended dosage of calcium formate needs to be increased accordingly as ambient temperature drops, with the maximum safe dosage restricted to 2.5% of cement weight. Even in summer construction, a dosage range of 0.3% to 0.5% can deliver remarkable early-strength enhancement for cement-based building materials.
