Introduction
Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) is produced from a natural polymer material, after a series of chemical processing, finally transformed to a non-ionic cellulose. It contains almost all the properties of methyl cellulose (MC), it is your first choice of additives for production of high quality building materials.
With high water retention, dispersion, easy dissolution characteristics, it would improve the efficiency and quality of construction projects.
Product properties
- Water Retention: The water retention will be enhanced, which is helpful to solve problems, such as the too fast drying of cement or gypsum construction material ,and poor hardening or cracking due to insufficient hydration.
- Operationally: It can enhance the plasticity of mortar and improve the coating efficiency in construction projects.
- Adhesivity: It can make better bonding between mortar andbase material since the plasticity of mortar is enhanced.
- Slip Resistance: It can prevent slipping problem between mortar and the base material in construction project as a result of its thickening effect.
