Construction/ Industrial Grade Calcium Formate

Calcium formate is often used in construction as cement rapid solidification agent, lubricants agent and early strength agent, for building mortar and a variety of concrete. It could speed up the hardening of cement, shorten the setting time. Especially in winter, calcium formate can effectively avoid slow condensation of cement because of the low temperature. As an early-strength agent, it makes cement stripping fast, gives the intensity of cement as soon as possible to put into use. The amount of calcium formate is gradually increased with the decrease of temperature, the biggest dosage of calcium formate in cement is 2.5%. Even in the summer , application of 0.3-0.5% of the amount, will also play a significant early-strength effect.
